Die 3 Schmalspurbahnen waren: Tram Locarno STL (laut Rollmaterialverzeichniss 1916 im Betrieb der LPB), die LPB Locarno-Ponte Brolla-Bignasco besser bekannt unter Maggiatalbahn, und die FRT Ferrovie Regionali Ticinesi, Heute noch als FART im Betrieb. Der Bahnhof Locarno befindet sich auf Gemeindegebiet von Muralto. Das Foto habe ich Mai 1995 zufällig gemacht, ich glaube es war eine Ausstellung im Bahnhof der FART.
The 3 narrow gauge railways were: tram Locarno, (1916 the service was lead by the LPB), the LPB Locarno-Ponte Brolla-Bignasco better known as the Maggia-valley railway, and the FRT Ferrovie Regionali Ticinesi, today in service as FART. The station Locarno is located on the city of Muralto. The fotos were made may 1995.

Jemand meinte man solle auch die Drahtseilbahn nach Orselina dazu rechnen, diese befindet sich aber auf Gemeindegebiet von Locarno, zwar nur wenige Meter von der Grenze entfernt, aber doch ... Der linke Pfeil zeigt die Abfahrtstation der Funicolare, der rechte den Ort wo ich die Fotos gemacht habe. Ich wohne seit März 2001 nicht weit entfernt, das Haus unter dem ersten "o" von Via San Gottardo (bzw. über dem mittleren "1" von 111.
Someone told me, that also the funicolare to Orselina schould be considered, this one is located on territory of Locarno, only few meters away from Muralto, but anyway ... The left flash shows the station of the Funicolare, the right the place where I made the photos. Since march 2001 I live very close, the building unter dte first "o" of Via San Gottardo (or over the middle "1" of 111).
